Carmen is very patient and explains in a way that I understand (even if I don’t always remember!!)

Carmen is a great teacher, profesional and very friendly at the same time. I have quite an advanced level (in my humble opinion), but each time I learn new words and expressions thanks to her. Mostly we talk, but if I say something not quite right she tells me, and corrects me. And she teaches me funny sayings like «hasta el 40 de mayo, no te quites el sayo» 😂

Carmen è un’insegnante molto attenta e disponibile, mette subito a proprio agio! E’ anche un’insegnate molto precisa e puntuale che riesce a far migliorare notevolmente nella lingua! L’ho scelta inizialmente per spagnolo ma, si è rivelata anche un’ottima insegnante di inglese, facendomi conseguire risultati eccellenti!

Carmen is a wonderful tutor. She is very attentive, polite and at the same time brings much fun to the lessons. I like her enthusiasm and positive attitude. Despite the fact that I am a beginner, we don’t use English in the classes (only in edge cases, when I don’t get the sense at all), because Carmen perfectly explains meanings of unfamiliar words. I really appreciate how she corrects mistakes: in speech she suggests other ways of expressing my thoughts, in writing she always explains options. After a month of lessons with Carmen I feel confident in speakng and especially in listening because I understand almost everything she says in Spanish. And as far as I’m going to travel to Andalucía, small tips from Carmen are priceless!

Have had 5 classes with Carmen but she has been amazing – really glad i was able to find her. The classes are varied and we discuss a wide range of topics which really boosts my vocabulary. Would certainly recommend her to other students!

Teacher Carmen can really understand students quickly even when students can not speak fluently. And she can always make students talk happily. Nice teacher, Nice class.

I really suggest Carmen as a Spanish teacher! I started with her in order to refresh my Spanish, mainly working on conversation. And I am satisfied because she can be very helpful with the vocabulary and grammar without stopping the speaking floow. She always prepares something fun for our classes; when I ask her for suggestions or request some topics she’s always enthusiastic!

After only a couple of lessons with Carmen, I can feel my confidence growing. She has a clear passion for languages and her lessons are well organised and fun. Most of all, Carmen has a great deal of patience, even on days when my brain can’t remember half the words I should know already!

Carmen is an amazing tutor. She has rekindled my love for speaking Spanish. She is a very talkative person who supports my current speaking level whilst encouraging me to constantly improve. I cannot fault Carmen at all as she is always prepared and alwyas comes to our lessons with a huge smile on her face.

I have only had my second class with carmen and i already know she is an amazing tutor, for anyone feeling nevous or insecure, lacking some confidence look no futher as carmen will put you at ease and make you feel comfortable within minutes of your first lesson. I wish i had started years ago, but as the saying goes better late than never, Mas vale tarde que nunca!!! Which i learnt today!!!

Carmen is without doubt an exceptional teacher. She’s attentive, organised, and extremely encouraging. Within the first lesson with her I felt so at ease, which really helps me when I trying to learn a language. I feel motivated to study outside of the lesson, and have improved so much since starting with her. My lessons are so enjoyable that it feels easy to do, amongst a hectic life schedule. Carmen uses lesson time very efficiently, but her lessons are also very fun. We are using a textbook and Carmen supplements the material from the text with her own presentations on grammar and other aspects of Spanish. She is also very fluent in English, which is very helpful when I am trying to translate between English and Spanish. I highly recommend Carmen as a tutor.
