Who are these private Spanish lessons for?
These sessions are designed to cater to a broad audience. Here are some examples:
- individuals wishing to start learning Spanish from scratch;
- people with limited knowledge of Spanish seeking to enhance their proficiency;
- those with a competent level of Spanish aiming to upgrade it.
- students with an advanced command of Spanish intending to apply it for specific purposes, such as work or studies.
- expats or tourists interested in becoming acquainted with the Andalusian accent.
What is the level of these private Spanish lessons?
The difficulty and pace of the classes are determined by the individual student.
Classes cater to a spectrum of proficiency levels, spanning from very basic (A1) to nearly fluent (C2), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
For instance, if you currently have an A2 proficiency, the classes will align with an A2+/B1 level to ensure accessibility while providing a challenging learning experience.
If you have any questions about the CEFRL, consult here (English) or here (Spanish).
What learning materials will be used during our sessions?
The choice of materials will be tailored to the student’s proficiency level.
BEGINNERS (A1-A2):
I typically incorporate a downloadable textbook accessible for free online or available for purchase in physical or online bookstores.
Textbook’s names are:
- Aula Internacional 1 (A1 level)
- Aula Internacional 2 (A2 level)
INTERMEDIATE (B1-B2) AND ADVANCED (C1-C2):
I often utilize materials and worksheets that I’ve personally crafted to delve into a specific theme during each session. Additionally, I integrate educational games to reinforce grammar and vocabulary.
The materials are created based on the curriculum of the Cervantes Institute (Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes). You can check the reference levels here.
ANDALUSIAN SPANISH:
If your goal is to learn and practice Andalusian, we’ll use plenty of audiovisual material and custom-made worksheets, and engaging speaking activities.
However, my top recommendation is to join the group workshop, coming soon! You’ll have the chance to practice engaging speaking exercises with classmates and learn from each other.
